I actually have a ton of things I've both done and want to do still relating to Halloween and like every holiday, I'm a month behind and counting.
This one didn't turn out as well as I had hoped but it did let me work with something I've wondered about.. Vinyl's shades are actually see through in part of them in order to create that broken effect. Since it worked so well with her glasses I attempted many many times to recreate the same effect using different flat objects.
My purpose was to create writing on the walls that I could place any where in a scene.. with out actually writing on the walls since it would be an invisible see-through object.
If it had worked, the uses I could have for such a thing are endless. Oh well. I might come back to the idea one day.
Vinyl's unicorn powers effect really didn't come out very well either. Its weird too because in the past I had unicorn powers work a lot better then I seem to be able to do the same trick now.
Some other good came from this. You can't tell because of the straight jacket but I've made a new body for Vinyl which I'll be sure to show off at some point in the future.
