This is a redraw to an old piece of vent art i had sketched and never finished. Did it for that redraw meme that was going around for a while. I'll probably do a few more of these with older pieces. Now, theres a story behind this one. At the time that i originally drew this piece, 5 years ago, i was stuck in an abusive relationship, failing high school, cutting, there was so much wrong with me at that time. The picture was meant to symbolize my "breaking free" of them all. Now that it's been years and so much has changed it now symbolizes my fight to overcome my depression, anxiety and life itself. Breaking free of all the negativity they add to life
