Not the best thing in the world and I'll bet you're sick of seeing this lil' practice pic now, but I got a few ideas for how to colour my sketches without losing too much of the shading. It took quite a while and could look a heck of a lot better but meh, it was a fun experiment nonetheless.

What are you using to color your pictures? photoshop?
Nice coloring, but it dulls out the lines a bit and takes away from the overall quality of the picture honestly. However the only way to find ways to do things and get better is to experiment. Glad to see you taking an interest in the arts

Me? Photoshop? I'm insulted Tezz :P
It's actually a rather tedious process involving MS Paint, any program that can make shapes with semi-transparent gradient boxes (Word basically) and a bit of Picture Manager.
I'm aware that it kills the quality but I'm refining my technique in this new colouring method. This experiment merely demonstrates that this unorthodox method works if you put the effort in. Hopefully I'll take more time with the next one and it'll turn out better. ^^;

I don't take it personally, I know you're trying to help and I was making a joke of sorts. I know Photoshop (and a tablet!) would be of great help to me as an artist, but I don't have that sort of money and torrenting is out of the question. I don't do that sorta thing...often XD (Joking)
Practice indeed males perfect, you're living proof of that Tezz, just look at how much you've improved since your earliest works: from good to jaw-dropping. ^w^
