I know how you feel. I've lost cats I loved to old age before. Most recent was my Nosy. I know, it can really hit you hard, even with you think you're ready for it. Nothing can
really prepare you, even so. You're never really ready.

Aw. Pretty. I got two ginger boys right now -- and a Calico. Sammy, Danny, and Mitzie.

I raised the boys from babies -- when my best friend gave them to me to raise to prepare them for adoption -- and I get attached and adopted them myself.
Sammy, my fave, got sick eating bits of plastic straws (yeah, I know; what the -- !!??? XD) and had to have an emergency operation in the middle of the night,
at an Emergency Clinic. I decided he was worth the steep bill I got.

... I dread the day when I got to schedule letting them go. I can't let what happened to Bootsie and Nosy happen with these guys; not again. It's really hard
to let go, but for their sake, when the time comes, I must, huh?

Anyway, ... I hope you don't feel too bad too long. I know, it can take a while ...
