There are SD-card adapters for the regular DS.

The DSi lacks a GBA cartridge slot and has shorter battery life.
Any mobile phone has better audio and photography capabilities nowadays. Also: it's a gaming console - it doesn't need those things, anyway.

Oh yeah, I got a few friends with the sd card cartridge adapters for their DS lite, but I like the idea of having it completely built in, because the less pieces I have to keep track of, the better. God, I've lost a few games as it is! So with a built in slot, I'd never have to take it out if I get a really big sd card.
I'm not buying it for the camera or audio.
I also only have 1 use for the GBA slot (an expansion pack for Dai Gasou Band Brothers).
As for the battery life, from what I read, it's pretty much the same as the ds lite.
I mean, if I didn't already have a DS, I'd go straight for the DSi, but I already got a lite, so as I said, the DSi is pretty low priority, and by the time I can and and am even willing to buy one, I'm hoping they have green or something. ;p Whenever I get a DSi, I still plan to keep my DS lite.

Well, the difference on my monitor from the FA version and the Photobucket version is BIG. There's no way anybody could look at the two of them on my monitor and think they're exactly the same in sharpness, color, and dimension.

You are mistaken, unless you linked the wrong one the PB and the FA one are exactly the same resolution. but one thing to note, PB is 477kb size and FA is 476kb... Odd, but anyway VERY nice pictures!
The only differnce I can see is the FA one has a DPI of 300 dpi, while the PB doesnt list a DPI in the file details, so depending on your browser it might simply be scaling down the unlisted image not displaying it at 100% zoom? idk :S

The two versions look relatively the same on my MBP screen and my cinema screen... Anyway: Really diggin' the off colour highlights and that heavy background shadow; and the detail you put into the lense on the glasses is the tits, as the kids say. Nice work, Keto. :D

Really nice pic. You did a super job, and it actually looks like you painted it even though it was done digitally. I like how you drew the DS, it looks really cool. And I like that think black line behind him to. The extra things that you added really makes the picture look nice. X3
