New to this whole furry thing so if its bad then thats why.

I'm not much of an artist but with what experience I got from my game design course I made my fursona Thorn. Originally it was a normal wolf on all fours which was a character I designed as a game concept, but I prefer him more standing.

The basic premise of Thorn is that he was a thief with a band of thieves that hid under the guise of a bar. One day on a heist Thorn was tasked with stealing a purple-y blue mana crystal. During his mission the crystal was nearly destroyed when it was chucked out of a window which Thorn managed to catch with his mouth. The press and magically energy burst and exploded, causing Thorn to be infused with it's magical energy and mutate his body to grow crystal matter that sprouts from his body depending where the shards of the crystal impacted him during the explosion. The most afflicted area was his jaw which protrudes a crystalline bow like shape that has granted him voice to cast magical bolts of energy. His body is cover in striations of crystal matter around his knuckles, shoulders, tail and knees and when he consumes more magical energy they grow larger over his furry body making him more powerful. His chest holds the biggest portion that glows and creates a ragged line towards his maw almost like a cable to a power source.

His fur is black and light grey highlights. The magical energy has given him purple highlights in his fur as well as his paw pads, ears, eyes and nose.
Thats the gist of his design I'd love some feedback before I begin commisioning superior artists for pics. Thanks! :D
