Seems to depend on her mood. Sometimes she just stands there or nudges him. Star just stares at him as if hypnotized.

Yup, both girls. Star (the fawn) is nearly 11, Maggie (apricot) is 8 or so.

What kind of mastiffs are your girls? They're super cute! How big are they? My boy is a little on the small side, (relatively speaking, anyways.) but I don't get to see other mastiffs that often to compare.

They're both English mastiffs, and sort of runty for the breed. Starr's much larger, maybe 170 pounds, she hasn't been weighed recently. Maggie has on the other hand dropped a lot of weight in the last year, she's down to 118 which oddly doesn't look horrible on her. We've been feeding Maggie more to try to get some pounds on her. Starr's fat but she's also 11 so we don't worry about it too much.

We had a big old retired stud for a while named Chief (the honorable Chief Highass, Grand Northstar Apache of something for his showname) who was nearly 200 pounds when he passed away, and he was skinny as hell then.

My Cash is 102 soaking wet, but he's an Italian mastiff. And I still think he's huge! Your two are super cuute!

*checks that* Italian Mastiff? Do you have a Cane Corso or a Neopolitan? *curious* My mom really wants to get a Neopolitan.
