I recently returned to FA and I get to see this from one of my favourite illustrators!
Add to that the fact that he won and this day just couldn't get any better for me!

Oh not commenting on you, just the flood of "My candidate didnt win so the country is ruined forever, how dare anyone vote for someone I dont like" jornals that populates my notifications. Finding the entire affair hilarious. Trump certainly isnt my choice, but then no one was this year. As far as Im concerned this contest was between two New York Democrats.
Yeah I didn't vote for either one, but still I'm going to accept the fact that Trump has won, despite the media (which is owned by many of the similar corporations that sponsored Hillary) essentially doing a smear campaign on him.
Hillary was a corrupt and manipulative shrew of a woman that only got in because of the big corporations that funded her and the DNC voted her in instead of Bernie Sanders. All because of her connections to Wall Street.
I myself am a leftist (A Socially Libertarian Leftist but still a leftist) and I'd like to consider myself a part of the alt-left. Against the whole race baiting and gender baiting of the idiotic SJWs and them basically using Marx's language to define about race and gender when it was never meant to describe those things. That and many of these SJWs are in fact using this Pseudo-Marxist verbiage in order to try to con people out of their money and basically to gain more power to fuel their narcissistic egos.

Obama was uniquely qualified to tell blacks to stop destroying their own communities and he not only failed to do so, (because lol, let's keep wrecking our own shit) but invited BLM over to the White House after all those cops were shot in Texas. Ok, like half a dozen cops, half of them black, killed a guy through mishandling his arrest.
Alright, bear with me for a minute. Check the time. Now wait forty minutes. That's how long it takes for a black man to shoot another black man for God knows what. Obama not only failed to better the black community, he made race relations worse by failing to stop leftist groups from acting as proponents of terror against the police.
So yeah. Trump could do absolutely nothing for blacks except quash BLM when they start complaining about all the evil white people who aren't killing blacks at the rates blacks are and still be the superior race president.

Did Obama set the bar high enough that people will think of black presidential nominees as having something unique to them that benefits the country? Because millions of people thought that when Obama was elected. He had the chance, but he failed. Louis Farrakhan, a civil rights activist who was working for blacks before Obama was even born denounced him in 2012 as a puppet of others who had no interest in helping blacks. Now the country is paying for misplaced hope.
And that's on top of a diminished military, adding 10 trillion more to the debt and fomenting violence in the middle east that has had Syria seeing war for the last 5 years. History will not look kindly on Barack Obama and the reasoning is all in the numbers.

I'm glad you came over and saw reason, Warhorse. I used to be a liberal until last year myself. These leftists used to stand for some values of human decency but they've gone totally bonkers with white male hate and its like they're about to start doing inquisitions on anyone not sufficiently "with Her."
I consider socialists and leninists as left. Liberalism (that is Classical Liberalism) to me basically means holding the the values of the Enlightenment (before all this race-baiting internal warfare garbage), that the USA was founded on. Other countries have their own value systems that define them and they should be allowed to keep them too without the USA policing our own value system on them. But I want to defend my own country's civilization from internal crazies that want to tear it down.
Funny how the Left preaches tolerance, yet the consistently prove to be THE most intolerant people on the planet. I say I voted for Trump, I'm then villified by them.
