Still fiddling around with acrylic paints. They all came out a bit amateurish and much messier than I'd like, but I'm still just getting a handle on colour mixing and such so I'm not too fussed about it. There's a lot of reliance on brush strokes here to make texture, and in the long run I'd like to smooth things out a bit, but it worked for some quick study things.

I probably over-reached a bit with that last one but I guess there's not much point in practising if you're not trying things that challenge you! Still, I'm gonna try stylizing and cleaning things up a bit in the future if I can figure out how.

But who knows, maybe some day!
I currently only have one blue, I only bought a small palette of colours to experiment with. Phthalo blue in all of 'em, though I also used Phthalo green here and there, especially in the last one where I needed lots of green and didn't want to mix it all out.
They're all really lovely, and do a great job of really capturing the essential feel of each landscape in a kind of minimalist way. Really catching the important elements. Admittedly I first watched you for paws and porn, but it's a real treat when you share works like this.
