Let's just say there's an essence of Mulan's "Reflection" in this piece, as well as "Defying Gravity" from Wicked as well (though I entitle it as "Defying Royalty" since Marian is going against her own half-brother and his cronies).
Let's say Marian's been at the "Robin Hood" business for sometime and sees her alter ego in mirrors whenever she's stressed out or put down by Prince John, and she's not sure what to do at first, as she leaves all her complaining, groaning and moaning for her Lady-in-Waiting.
But when she sees that reflection in the mirror, shes knows Princess Marian cannot do much to stop that awful rat - but Robin Hood could!
In any case, I hope auroragriffin enjoys this gift.
