Well, this was my first try with acrylics, and so far, while I like it, I have come to an annoying revelation:

Acrylic paints are a fucking beastly load of work to deal with.

Pleh. I'll finish this whenever I have time and space to clear out a significant chunk of kitchen real-estate to paint in. Acrylic paint experiment on Bristol. I'm pleased with how the coat turned out; The hue variation and shading on it was spot on to what I was expecting.
