And here’s this. I got out of bed at like 5 yesterday morning just to start drawing this. America’s election decision has, well, got me rather worried for many reasons. I was in panicked tears about it and have felt rather awful ever since.

Per usual, I started listening to Sonic music to calm down, and ended up listening to All Hail Shadow. In the process, the lyrics to the first verse kinda stuck with me more than usual.

“Suffer long, and it will set you free. Only through trial do we find the strength we need. It’s never over, just another day. Of hope and tragedies, and everything that comes our way. Determination of the strong. Found the meaning that you’ve searched for so long.”

‘Determination of the strong’ sunk in deepest, and once again I found my reason to not give up because of Shadow the Hedgehog. We’re going to make it. There’s no telling what will come in the next four years, but we’re going to make it. Everything is going to be fine, even when it seems like it won’t. We just have to be strong, and not let the weight of it take us down.
