Apart from that, notable places in town include all manner of shops, if you felt you needed to stock up on anything before leaving. Not that you have your own currency to spend.

There’s a rattling cage, and although you wouldn’t be allowed to fight in it and- generally speaking- are not great with the more brutal ends, you could probably stand to watch a clean match and try to pick up some moves, just in case.

The adventurer’s guild is technically off-limits, but if you could find a way to conceal your bracer they might be willing to supply you with a few starting supplies, if you made a show of picking up your first quest.

And of course, if you just want to have a fairly quiet place to finish up any prep without people staring, there’s always the natural lake around which the city was built.
