Yes it's a finfun. I would have loved to order a silicon one, but it's out of reach right now, or I'll try to make one as soon as I'll be able to finish my workshop. At least this one will give me the opportunity to swim a bit with it, and for some pics it will be better as the tip/fin of my old tail is really too "light" for some pics and it's not easy to put it correctly if I'm alone for a photoshoot.

It's maybe a good thing that you didn't get a silicone tail. I herd that if your new getting a tail they recommend a fabric tail. Silicone tails are very heave and hard to swim with at first but fabric tails helps a lot and helps you practice swimming like a mermaid plus fabric tails are easy to use and take care of. However with finfun you have to be extremely careful. If you swim with it offen they'll last for a few months or a year and fade overtime so I herd. But still finfun is still a good choice as a first tail or use as cosplay or just wearing it for fun

I'll try to make the silicone tail myself as it would be less expensive, and the way I want to do it would be a bit different from the one I've seen, so I'm not even sure it would work underwater ^_^!
Yes I know about the durability of their tails, but I can still make a new one myself by using just their monofin and some lycra I'll decorate myself like for my old tail, or just buy a new lycra, it's not that expensive once you've got the monofin :)

Awe sounds like a good idea buying and making your own tail yourself plus I have a monofin from finfun but it's take a while to explain how I experience it :P I'm not that creative and I use to have patience to plus I never make costumes before so I'm planning on buying a tail soon I want to get a finfun but like I said before I'm worried about it's durable and things like that so looking for a tail is very hard for me plus it's my very first one
