Waking up a sore, and semi-groggy mess, Nyx procrastinated getting out of bed for several hours, before finally throwing the covers to one side, rolling out of bed, and stumbling her way to the nearby curtains that separated her from the world outside. Throwing the curtains off to the side, the young shark nearly crumpled to the floor in agony as the beautiful sunny day beyond her sliding glass door was too much for her to handle.
BUT, after a moment of keeping her eyes screwed shut, she forced them open, as well as the sliding door, before stepping onto the back porch and taking in the beauty of such a gorgeous day. The sun was out, there wasn't a single cloud in the sky, and the beach was nearly void of people. Quickly getting herself ready and all beach-i-fied (Yup, made mah own word.), Nyx almost sprinted down the stairs of her hotel and out onto the warm, soft sands of the beach out back.
Something was missing, and Nyx knew she would be able to enjoy herself at all until she filled that void. She didn't have a friend to enjoy the beach with her. So, without much hesitation, she pulled out her phone and took a couple of quick pics of her enjoying the sun, and sent them to her good friend Riggs, as well as many others she'd managed to snag the numbers of at her last visit to one of the local cons.
So... Going to keep her waiting?
