It's good being a big, toony rat. You can do whatever you want and no one can really stop you. If you see something you like, just strut about and show yourself off. They might be curious and you can just pull them into a big, squishy embrace. Or they might get scared or creeped out...but that just means you have to use your size, strength and long tail to really insist they come a little closer. Cute, little things are clearly meant to fuel and enhance the rat. Some might enjoy the hot, wet, squishy ride into the big, bad rat. Some might strongly disagree with this new direction in their life and will put up a fuss until the very end. But that makes it even better.

All these little darlings have a vast array of personalities and lives, making every encounter special in its own way. Sivvy never knew them before and won't remember them after, but in that moment, they're all the rat desires and every ounce of his being is spent welcoming them to their new home. Sure, they may not get to enjoy it and some might even throw around terms like 'monster' or even 'murderer'. Sivvy prefers 'collector'. After all, none of them are ever really gone. Just...'improved'. Assimilated. Absorbed. A cruel end, or a new beginning, depending on who you ask.

It can be the best or the worst day of their lives as well as anything in between. But it's most assuredly the last.
