What are the Salem Witch Trials?

in the 18 hundreds, salem, a new town of america, in massachustetts, a fear was spreading. some local girls claimed to be posessed by a witch. the people who lived in salem were like, really religiuos and REALLY beleived in God. so, they started going on hunts for women who are claimed to be witches. they would put them on unfair and biased trials. they would either die in jail, or get hung. there was this one guy who was like, put between 2 stones, and was CRUSHED to his death. yeah, guys were accused as witches. wierd huh? i feel SO bad for the people sent to thier deaths. its an mystery if they really were witches, but i dont think there were...do you?

yes. they would kill ANYTHING they thought was ACCOTIATED with the witch. they would also kill people who stood in thier way. they would kill cats, rabbits, qowls, bats, roosters, and lots of other animals, not only BLACK cats

totally. i was raised in a large family. i had to learn to stand up for myself. *shrugs* i leared it fast. REAL fast.

I couldn't stand up for myself at all, up until about..5th grade

Bullied every day and forced to do things I didn't want to, and if I didn't do it I'd get hit and ditched to be by myself.
