Seems Dahlia had a run in with Necro and upon asking if she wanted to join him on his side, she allowed him to turn her into a shadow pokemon, changing her white fur into purple and her rings into a bright red.
She still has her old form whenever she is away from the shark, but is always adorned with the mark on her lower belly.
