I hope and pray that her hands fully heal and that she can get back to doing what she loves so much. I'm only sorry that I have so little skill to offer in her absence. I also feel bad for your friend and hope he gets no more insults.
But on the bright side, I am working on becoming ambidextrous myself, and my left hand is doing great! I am practicing both writing and drawing with it, with astounding results! I actually believe I will be able to use it as well as my right, given enough time and effort.
