Wow, it's been quite a while since I uploaded a piece of aviation artwork, one, as always, drawn by the ever-talented, tales_foxdale. This time we're travelling the Russian Federation for this scene, featuring my kittyshark, Katja Eviana, and the agile predator of the skies that is the Sukhoi PAK-FA. Sukhoi have produced one of my favourite Russian jets, the Su-27 'Flanker' (the days of NATO reporting names are sadly long gone, but I have heard the PAK-FA called the 'Harpoonski', not sure about that one!), and by all accounts they're keeping up the tradition of producing nimble aircraft with this, their latest fifth generation fighter aircraft.

Tales has done sterling work casting Katja in the role of a senior pilot of one of these awesome fighters and capturing the technical detail of the plane itself and set this wintery scene just perfectly. And it feels great to indulge my passion for military aviation once again with another amazing piece from this most talented of military-inclined artists. And now Katja has gotten her wings too!
