GLS - Grey the Turbo Lover
An action packed evening drive in a sexy swede, a Saab 99 Turbo. The car responsible for the turbo craze in the nineteen eighties. Powered by an improved version of the Triumph 1993cc 16 valve engine & paired with a turbo charger, you can certainly see how this car quickly became a cult car, even appearing in the music video to Don't You Want Me by The Human League.
I wont lie, it's taken me waaaaay too long to draw this car in a presentable manner, let along render it! I've wanted to draw one for years & do this classic some justice. In terms of rendering, I've tried to bring it on par with The Special Assignment ( http://www.furaffinity.net/full/19194958/ ) which, despite not being a terribly popular piece, I feel that I should experiment with more low light conditions. I love a good sunset but I've never been able to do it properly until now.
On another note, you can probably tell that I am struggling for art ideas, all I seem able to draw is Grey in a classic car & that has to change. These works are clearly not popular & I need more input from you guys. Before you say "Do commissions", I already am but on a low scale, me having a job & the occasional lapse in motivation doesn't really help & I can't realistically charge for art that I may or may not get around to.
