I hope that this month I'll be able to post more work. Past months kept me busy with giant illustrations that didn't leave enough time for other paintings. But always staying busy! :)

Well the point of my series of lands was to incorporate the mana symbol as a real source of summoning power in a MTG universe. It's supposed to be a detail that makes my MTG lands unique. :)

oh don't get me wrong, it looks wonderful with the symbol. I love seeing it and they all look really cool. I just mean I'm pretty sure wizards of the coast would pay to use the design without the symbol. That'd be really neat. I hope I can get my name on a magic card some day, that'd be so neat.

It a dream that might never come true for me, I'm afraid. Too much competition, limited amount of work, returning artists... all we can do is to do our best and just hope for the best.

Well, see, the cool thing about wizards of the cost is they actually have a big submission folder and if you go onto their forums you can just kinda submit stuff in the appropriate place and if they like something they just contact you. So you just kinda upload it and check every now and again. One of my art teachers did some stuff for them and that's how he went about doing it most of the time.
