Been wanting something.. different.. so how about a Cartoon character?
Here we go,
Meet "Otto Acme"
one of the original Toons drawn for Acme studios before they switched to producing Toon props and backgrounds.
Acme Studio's, like other cartoon studios of it's time was founded and started producing it's own toons and films in the "Toon Boom" period of 1922-1929 when hundreds of cartoon studios were founded. However within a year the studio was nearing finanacial ruin and started selling off it "Live Toon props" demand for the Toon props was unexpectedly high due to the difficulty of producing "living toons" and "toon props" Switching production from "Films" to suppling Cartoon props and cartoon backgrounds to other studios reversed the companies finances.
The move to a supplier seperated Acme Studios from the highly competitve and hit-or-miss nature of the film industry. While hundreds of studios entered the market, produced a few films and either made it or went backrupt, Acme made money from just about every Cartoon studio that entered the market which allowed them to weather the Great Depression and the end of the "Toon Boom".

One of my favorite films was Who framed rodger rabbit, recently I (re)watched the film again and was curious as to what might have happened (history-wise) for such conditions to arise.
Step back from the film's plot itself and have a look at what is being pictured in the background.
Toons are treated horribly, segregated into their own city/town which is patroled by a police force (the toon patrol) which uses summary execution of it's citizens (toons) for minor crimes.
Holy shit that's dark isn't it?
I don't know (or really care) if the origional writer ever came up with a history as to why those conditions became prevelant so I made one myself and tied in similiar cartoons (for later periods) which featured behind-the-scenes looks at a cartoon show with "Toon"actors. (Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, the Looney Toons show)
If anyone is interested I'll clean it up a bit and post that as well.

Thanks!
might add some more stuff to it
I've been thinking of writing an actual story based on him/other toon characters, though I'm not sure if that would be considered Original fiction or fanfiction since the background world is based in WFRR even if the storyline itself is original.
