It's the series joke, Mangle, Toy Foxy and Funtime Foxy have all been called both male and female in the games.
xNIROxs Mangle is female while his Funtime Foxy is male probably because the Sister Location Foxy has a more masculine body shape and all of his other characters from that game are female

Actually Funtime Foxy is referred to as both a male and female within the game. It's intentionally done that way to mess with people, Funtime Foxy's gender is still ambiguous.

Er, let me see if I can sort this in a manner less confusing than the unabridged tax code...

Foxy the Pirate Fox (FNAF 1, 2, 3, 4, FNAF World) is male. This is the red fox with the eyepatch.

Mangle (FNAF 2, 3, FNAF World) is female, at least according to the "Ladies' Night" setting in 2. Phone Guy still calls Mangle a "he", however.

Funtime Foxy (FNAF World, FNAF 5) has no canon gender. Hand Unit avoids using gendered pronouns when talking about Funtime Foxy on Night 1 and Night 5. On Night 2, "Angsty Teen" Hand Unit uses male pronouns for Funtime Foxy:

"Let's check on Funtime Foxy. Make sure he's ready for showtime tomorrow."

On Night 3, however, Hand Unit uses female pronouns for Funtime Foxy:

"Let's check on Funtime Foxy. It's important to make sure she's on her stage before entering."

"Unlike Ballora, Funtime Foxy is motion-activated. For this reason, its important to keep the room dark, as to not accidentally activate her."

So... tough call.

it's a joke from Scott, see back in FNAF1 despite him explicitly saying foxy is a boy on the phone, everyone called Foxy a girl until it was once again confirmed on steam that foxy is indeed a boy, so since then Scott has made the fox a confusing as fuck gender game

I think both are male funtime foxy and mangle due to the info of mangle in fnaf world that state mangle is a guy and well ladies night can be something else then other people think it is x3 lol but then again i don't mind~ ;9

fnaf world also calls Mangle a "she". The loading screen is random which pronoun it uses.

Scott Cawthon has said that Mangle's gender is "yes", however.
