''Watching Your Weight''
So as of yesterday i finally returned from my vacation! So first of all i want to thank you for being patient with me since i haven't posted anything for the past week or so
I definitely had a lot of fun on my trip, did a lot of swimming, ate a lot more than i usually do, and was generally happy to get a few days off, it was hard not to let that be interfered by the election though, even though i'm not an American all the tv channels were fully focused on it x.x
But life goes on, and i had plenty of catching up to do when it came to art! And with my art energy fully replenished i got straight to work, starting off with a personal warm up pic of that one chunky Grovyle i've drawn a few times before, it turned out so well however that i just had to finish it~
It's really easy to get rid of all the guilt when you order something greasy, just order something slightly less greasy afterwards and pretend you're not completely out of shape yet! But who cares? Trading agility for huggability and not to mention all that delicious greasy food is a great trade to make, and this Grovyle knows it <3
Pretty sure this guy's next destination is the tailor though, since those jeans are on the verge of ripping
Really hope you enjoy! Hope the dialogue is readable as well, i couldn't find a fitting color that would contrast well with the background ;w;

Ha! I love that gag where everything else is as unhealthy as possible, but *one* item is changed. He might as well just order one leaf of lettuce while he gets everything else on the menu at this point!
This looks amazing! I seriously love how fat he's gotten since last time, can't believe how big he could be once evolved -W- !
Also, I think it's too late to change it, but you may want to change his white text to a different color so it stands and you can read it better.

I absolutely adore this character of yours, Luke! Partly because Grovyle is my favorite Pokemon, partly because fatty Pokemon are extremely appealing, and also because being forever in denial about one's weight is one of the best attitudes to have for a fatty since it means plenty of more pounds to add to the already out-of-control waistline! He's simply superb and seeing more of him always makes me happy.
Now, you made a fantastic job with this pic. The texture of the jeans is spot-on! And the way he's tugging them up while his gut sags over the counter really emphasize his massive size. Wonderful job and welcome back from your vacations!

Oh that's absolutely wonderful to hear, i think i know why i'm not surprised hearing Grovyle is your favorite Pokemon, since him and your sona share a simmilar color scheme x3
But this definitely won't be the last time i'll draw him, he'll probably have another X added to his jeans' size in the next pic though~

GOSH, he looks even bigger than the last time we saw him~ no doubt after a number of "Number 84"s he's had of who knows how long~
Someone give the big guy a belt! Even if we have to use the ones made for large truck motors! <XD
if he were slouching juuust a bit more, that curve of his belly would be smoooshing onto the counter~

But yeah he's been steadily gaining weight, winter is coming after all and grass pokemon especially need plenty of insulation~

Oooooh, very nice!
Also, tip for text: If you're not sure it'll show, have the layer have a "stroke" blending property. If it's Photoshop, right click the layer, go to Blending Properties, and go down to Stroke. Make it black if the text is white, and vice versa :)
Otherwise, don't be afraid to just kinda draw behind it in a contrasting color.
