Wow... now this is a good chapter.
It's Liz/Fox's interview with the press and dealing with the paparazzi that sold me here.
Yes, they're still vultures as... I've realized after seeing how much they hound Brad and Jen (Well, I think it's Brad and Angie now, but you get what I mean.) But what I like in this is how she has to respond to it when they ask the same questions that you happen to see on TV.
I.E- "How do you feel about your husband's death" and "why have you kept your marriage hidden till now."
Even though Liz is literally talking about the death of her former self, its still good writing when you see how she has to respond to it in the way that keeps the scandal off her and her identity, keeps the press of Krystal's back, and deals with it in a professional manner which is befitting a celebrity.
In short "How the hell do you THINK I'm supposed to feel about this?" And I like that. Even if it's something minor like that, it's still showing that the character is human and gives human responses to questions like that....even if it's meant to be a cover up. I think that itself is what made the chapter for me.
I'm sorry if I'm reading this as late as I am, but I'm just now getting back to the natural order of things.
Besides, late or not, I feel it's still worth reading~
