"Cooking. Some just think of it as a way of sustaining one's self, others call it an art. With me I see it as a heavy mixture of both, a great taste leaving people wanting more, and keeping everyone full until the next meal comes around. A good chef should be able to make any tasty meal out of limited ingrediants (sp). You never know when you will have to make due with unknown food and hope for the best, but a true chef always comes through in the end. Able to make any changes at a moment's notice. Always meeting the pressure and demand of those s/he will be serving, the constant stress on one's self. But in the end, happy. Knowing s/he has satisfyed everyone, the cooking pot empty until the time comes again.
A real chef is able to bend to the demands of the people. Cook with what life gives him. Never breaking under pressure, using their time efficently/quickly, never keeping people waiting"
