So i'm gunna just post a few scribbles i've been doing that no one usually would ever see(due to my lazyness and standard artist self-antagonizing of ones own work)
This is max, turned into a space Skaven for my warhammer 40k concept.
doubly interesting is this is what I got him wearing in an SL horror/sci fi role play sim. black clothing with blackscavenged imperial guard armour with icons of the horned rat adorning it...also missing is the three human skulls lashed on the back of his belt and his tail.

Did you know that there were plans to make a Skaven Race in Warhammer 40K while the game was still a work-in-progress during its early years?
It's true. The race is called "the Hrud" and they were gonna be armed with musket-like Warp-Guns.
But because they didn't want WH40K to be "Warhammer Fantasy in Space", they scrapped the idea along with the Squats, the Slann, and the Loaxatl (Lizardmen).
They kept the name "Hrud" but altered the concept.
Now they are a very minor race that looks NOTHING at all like Skaven.
According to this Thread, Gamers Workshop doesn't want any of their employees to think about reviving any scrapped race concepts in "Their" Franchise. As a result, they almost fired this guy for even mentioning his intentions on trying to bring back the Slann to WH40K.
