Thank you! The most difficult subjects for me were #3 (any object in cartoon style), and #6 (childhood cartoon hero(es)). Looking back my childhood, it seems very hard to find a hero(es) in the cartoons which were created in Russia in the 70s.

(4) turned out particularly well, and I did enjoy the alternate take in (2).. could be a fun meme in itself, getting folks to draw themselves in that sort of style. Who actually came up with that "rubber hose" look originally, I wonder - was it U B Iwerks?

Sorry, I could not draw Zayatz well in a short while. It was quite difficult to draw some objects in cartoon style, because such a technique is not so much used in cartoon as "in animation." Though I needed to refer to the "Silly Symphonies", "Betty Boop", and "Popeye" to draw the #2, I was surprised that a Japanese manga, "Norakuro"(1931) has quite an unique style in the 30s.

It was quite difficult to draw an object in cartoony style, but whenever I am walking on my way back home from the office in the midnight, the lamps on the road look like the above as if they were alive. As I did not live in the free world, I hope this will give you a bit different impression from the other works drawn by the artists in the Western Europe, U.S., Canada, Australia, and N.Z..
