Me and my tail (and my ears)
Even I had to agree: I'm so cute, I just wanna hug myself. ^_^
Actually, Marwan doesn't usually hug his tail (and ears) all the time. ^_^;; He only does it when nobody is watching. Because, well... it's embarrassing. ^_^;;
At least, his ability of being very cute can also be used as a secret weapon, too... If you've just submit comments like "Aww so cute" or something similar, you've just been hit by that secret weapon! XDDD
That aside, I felt that I should also continue improving the way I draw scenes and characters -- in this case, reutilizing the gradient shading technique I've used in some of my previous pics like "Bang! You're Dead". Because if I don't, my artworks will continue to remain looking the same, and I'll never gonna able to improve.
By the way, the title would make better sense if you've seen my previous "Me and my tail" series of pictures in my deviantART gallery.

Thanks! XD Believe it or not, this picture was drawn entirely in Flash, using nothing but vectors. The gradient shading effect was achieved via the skillful use of radial gradient fills, and then adjusting the color sequences within those fills... Eh, it's a little too technical to explain. ^_^;; It's not that easy; I've taken great pains perfecting it. x_x
Getting alpha transparency is easy: Flash has the option of saving 24-bit PNG images with transparency. There's a setting in the exporter that allows you to do that.

The irony in that was that it made me laugh as I didn't think I'd ever hear YOU of all people saying something like that. xP
Still, I will admit this is..rather charming.. considering it's you. And that all too long jump rope like accessory in which you call a tail. Though I must say in this one.. it looks like you were going with a new coloration style there as.. the shadowing... seems a bit different then what I'm used to. It's like you used.. a different paint brush.. as it's not as much 'solid' as it was. And I like that.

XDDD I bet that many characters with a strong self-awareness about how cute they look would think so about themselves, too... ^_^;; Eh, many furries with a cute fursona do, anyway, even though, in-character-wise, their fursonas might not think so.
