So some may have seen a while back I was building a Vaultsuit:

Well, it went on a 9 month hiatus because of a rotational deployment to Korea. But now I am back, I am returning to work on this XD
Now that I've gotten the material and cut it out, it is time to add tubbing, some additional material under areas that appear to have texture to give it texture, and some metallic material to make the gold parts look right. But, that will require me to wait on materials, so now I will work more on the musket and leather armor set.
Along with plans for the local comic cons that may occur, I may bring this to TFF, and possibly have random GSD suiters fill in the part of Dogmeat for the laughs.
And there will be more on this as I contine to build and get closer to completion.
Oh, the small set is to "test sew" to be sure I get all the seams aligned correctly, though I may have some fun with it later.

hahahaha X'D "Skills" I should note that the bolt of material I got has 2 other sets, just in case I mess something up badly (such as cutting into the fabric ... or cutting one of my fingers during the process and ruining the outfit with the blood XP )
Plus, the smaller outfit is meant as a sewing test model, to be sure all the seams are placed in the right place, before sewing moves on to the full scale model. Much experimentation before actually getting the to the real thing must be done XP
Hopefully I'll have it ready before the end of march, so I can take it to the Comic Con over in Dallas XD That, the leather armor set that I'm making (far easier to deal with than this suit admittedly), and the Laser Musket (which has been tons of fun to make so far), should make for quite the appealing cosplay, if I continue to put in the effort towards it XD Way too many half-ass outfits out there, and I want it too look right, and be produced in the spirit of the Fallout franchise (i.e. the armor and weapon are made from either easily scavenged or easily obtainable parts).
