Two prototype characters I'm working on - say hello to Sine and Sina,
two bioluminescent deity-like spirits who enjoy tampering with others' days.
Originally they are one spirit, but were split into two halves to prevent
their former selves' omnipotent misbehavior from spilling over too far.
Individually they contain enough power to cause significant mischief,
and could certainly be considered gods in their own rights, albeit only fractions
of their former self. Their trickery could include anything from growth and shrinking
to levitation, teleportation to transformation, invisibility to merely inputting
obstacles in your way. Conversely, if befriended or should it tickle their interest,
they can also act as wish-granting genies, providing those they deem appropriate
with whatever they might desire.
Since they are originally one being, they show very little visible or verbal communication
between them, as a thought of one will be almost instantly felt by the other.
They can utilize telepathy individually or together, or they can talk normally,
depending on what they choose. They feed off of natural energy, but are careful
not to absorb enough that there should cause an imbalance. Even as tricksters,
they hold a responsibility to not go too far with their playfulness - as much as they
do bend those limits frequently.
They're commonly invisible themselves, so next time something misfortunate happens,
they just might be there, watching and cackling from nearby..
Average quality of the image is due to me not having the original version, and I can't find it anywhere.
