She saw the way he kept looking at her shirt and not at her face. He really should've ran faster.
The once monolithic temple crumpled and cracked around the behemoth inside, creaking like a balloon filled with far too much air, just waiting to explode. She'd grown from the underground up, nearing the surface and fresh air, and worst of all, the Sun. If there was one thing she did know about this artifact, it's that it thrived on solar power. She'd tattooed herself with the Sun symbol as a reminder of her life goal. Said Sun symbol was now at least 6 times larger than the average person.
All of Egypt felt the impending grumbles of doom from the site, the Earth itself moving before her colossal force. All it took was a couple of rays of sunshine to strike across her pillowed back as it broke through the sandstone, before a surge of energy demolished the Sphinx, the Great Pyramids, Cairo, all smothered in the rich figure of the new godqueen of the world, hell, of the universe. They were her playthings now, to crush and conquer at will just as she'd always deserved.
A tremendous shadow loomed over the sand, the dust clouds pushed out across Northern Africa as the monster from Kenya began her path to world domination. This power was still not enough. Like a certain hungry caterpillar, she still craved more.
