Been a while since I played with ms. Emma Frost, aka the White Queen. Been and even longer time since I last used this diamond texture I found at Renderosity. I rendered this pic in about 16mins. The last time I rendered this texture, I had to leave it going overnight because it just sucked that much (seen here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12578107/ ) *snickers*
So yes, I'm very happy with these awesome render times on complicated textures and Poser even comes with this neat dome thing that not only gives me ground to render on, but a whole "interior" so that textures like this have something to react to instead of a blank void :D

Marvel is owned by Disney, who are looking to make piles of money off their Marvel Heroes movies. However, Fox has the movie rights to the X-Men and Spider-Man; any work that Marvel puts into pumping up the X-Men just goes to make their movies more profitable... for a competitor. That's one of the reasons Marvel's been pushing the Inhumans; they own all the rights to them.
This is totally awesome. Nice work, Jolene.
Though, after reading the above conversation between you and Purgy, I'm disappointed in what the X-Men have become nowadays. (Haven't read any comics in about 3-4 years) Then again, I should have expected this once Disney acquired Marvel.

I did some checking, and you're right. Fox does own the right to the X-Men.
After the licensing agreement with Sony that allowed Marvel to have the use of Spider-Man in their shared film universe, the only rights that Marvel Studios does not have access to are the X-Men and Fantastic Four set of characters and Deadpool; all are still in production as separate franchises at 20th Century Fox.

Short Version: Marvel no longer owns the following:
1. Spider-Man (Sony)
2. Fantastic Four (Fox)
3. X-Men (Fox)
4. Deadpool (Fox)
5. Silver Surfer (Fox)

The fun part is always finding the right texture to get the look you want. God knows how much time I wasted trying different ones on 3D things.
I so wann learn a lot of 3D apps. I just don't have the time. I've been getting a keen interest in learning Blender after looking at what
ashnar's done with that app and the other stuff. I've barely scratched the surface with Sketchup.

In WoW, I couldn't have my name Jolene, so I had to have a varient, Jeolene. Fast forward to a couple months ago when Legion came out, was trying to think of a name for my demon hunter. My original idea was going to be Jeode, 'cause it was like my other name and night elves are purple :D
