Decided to throw in a submission for Cameron Lauder's "Humanity's Future", where he wished to see depicted through art, writing or music, a positive and hopeful future for humanity, anything from 50 years to 5000 years or beyond.

Everyone's mileage may vary, but here's what I tried to depict:

* The sky is purple to help cement that this isn't Earth; probably a result of terra-forming. Also I didn't feel like doing the whole 'blue sky on Mars' reference.
* Along the same lines I figure the flora would lean towards the red pigment, making blues and greens a popular choice for clothing and such, similarly an emergency light would be green to stand out.
* Roof gardens/foliage are a common thing, solar panels and wind-turbines are the major source of electricity.
* Ground vehicles are largely self-driving, mentioning that because it's not largely evident.
* Bicycles still exist, public transport still exists, weekends still exist.
* Fashion and make-up is considerably less gendered.
* I figure by this point it's more common to have Red Pandas for pets.
* Languages alongside English still exist... mostly because I didn't feel like making up some alien future language.
* Space-ships that make no aerodynamic sense work somehow. XD
* Monorail?
