They had extra posters left over after givinh to the double preorderers. So they gave the rest out to every one else.

Aww, now I wish I went to get it after work instead of before work, I might have gotten lucky too...maybe I could go tomorrow and see if there are any left over, cause it's a dang fine poster X3

Basically. I showed up to gamestop only an hour after I got done with work. changed clothes. sat for a bit. then left to get to gamestop at 7pm. met some people. battled, played smash brothers and watched the pokemon anime they were playing on a big TV and they also had out bunches of pokeball cupcakes. most were eaten by the time it was 11:50 pm. and they had us form a line. and it was at 11:55 when all the people started showing up to get in line for the midnight release. once that line was fully formed, that's when they started giving out the posters down the line.

Ah, I didn't go to the midnight release cause I had an early shift coming up. Curse my needing to work ;;

yeah. my shifts tend to start around noon or later.
