LOL I'm not defending that kind of behaviour :)
Just saying there's usually a very good reason why they resort to such things, often being the only easy avenue left.
Bullies aren't born bullies, and believe it or not they generally don't want to act like assholes either, and they certainly aren't beyond redemption either (save the sociopaths among them, of course, but that's a different story).

God damn, what a narrative! The tiger's expression looks torn between anger, frustration, regret and confusion, all at once. Why is he so weak, why is he crying? What a pussy! Weakness must be punished!
The deer too knows all too wells what's in store for him. My dream would be for you to make a sequel to this picture, explaining what happened later on, at any point in their lives, really.

Yo! Thanks very much for your thoughts, you some it up much neater than I can! I thought of it as a turning point for the tiger. He wanted the little kid to cry, but when it happens so easily it isn't satisfying, so his thoughts and feeling ping pong around and he's left open for a moment.
I agree I'd like to do some more of these, I think there's some relatable moments that would be interesting to bring up from both their lives.
Thanks again! : )

This takes me back to a period where I had players bullying kobolds at my d&d tables. Said kobolds were essentially conscripts, slave-fighters. When the paladin began bullying the few survivors in prison, needless to say, they had mental breakdowns just like this poor buck here.
The tiger looks so... Empty in what he does. Vapid, even. The confusion he is showing is more akin to befuddled at how pathetic the target is, instead of any degree of caring.
It's a sobering reminder that there are a disturbingly large amount of people that take pleasure in the suffering they impose on others, or straight up don't even have the cogs for empathy. What doesn't disturb me is such people existing... But how overwhelmingly common they are.

Uhh, I really miss these type of arts from here. You catch the moment perfectly and densing two personality, /and a whole life to a moment ! Ohh you =D. I hope that, I will see more art like this here ! Well ... I think I have to using a little more "colourful" palette on my characters emotion in the future ...
like said prior- great work on the expressions and body language/general illustration. While the poor fawn is completely at mercy, the tiger's intent, almost impassive stare makes me wonder if he is gradually reconsidering these bully antics? Or maybe he is soaking in the moment, perhaps relishing it. Who knows. This is why I love this, and by extension, your art.
I wish there was a story to this. it has so much emotion and is such a sensitive subject. Like this is so relative in both ways to me. -w-
though at a different perspective it look more like he may have had a black out do to anger or something or was pisses off before he got to the gazelle
