Endless Realms player class - Bard/Jester
Player class artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.
Bards and jesters are two sides of the same coin, both using a combination of Order and Chaos magic to buff allies and debuff enemies, respectively. Here we have a Dengu bard accompanying a Kalamir jester as they (literally) work their magic on their audience ;)

The Dengu kind of reminds me of oldschool gaming when video game makers had a pair and were able to produce good games with anthropomorphic goodguys in them instead of that whole "Humans are the absolute good" bull**** that feels like it's being shoved down my throat all the time. Kind of reminds me of Shining Force. If I ever play this game, I'll probably make a Dengu character, since I've always had a soft spot for the more stocky characters in games.
I remember when the Jester class came out as a joke in one of Dragon Magazine's April issues, only to become adopted widely enough that it might as well have come straight from Gygax. I also remember some pretty insane results of playing one. As I recall, by the time the campaign fizzled out from people finishing university and moving away, he was a gnomish merman who rode in a fishbowl strapped to the saddle of his drafthorse, and had a gnoll girlfriend the DM had intended as a monster encounter for the party.
