A new style of backpack, commissioned by Empirewolf13 of her dragony-character! My apologies, I couldn't recall his name nor could I find it defined in the emails we exchanged! Terribly sorry 'bout that!
This fellow was a real challenge to figure out pattern wise. But in the end, I feel that he turned out beautiful! He has one strap rather then two unlike my usually requested backpacks, but this allows him to rest on your shoulder and appear to be hanging onto you as you walk around with him at cons and other such events. He has a hidden zipper in his belly allowing his owner to fit her hotel key, iphone, and money inside.
He has beautifully embroidered eyes and eye markings (was a pleasure working with Elizabeth Royal on those, kudos to her for assisting with the embroidery for this fellow!)
Made with faux fur, minky, fleece, nylon, cotton, and a whole lot of blood, sweat and tears! Went through MANY drafts to get this guy working right so he would sit just right on the shoulder and not appear stiff-legged.
