Dear Journal,
I have to jot this down quickly. I'm trying to secure a shuttle to get to Sydney as quickly as possible. I don't have time to explain everything that's been going on in my personal life. Something terrible happened on that mission to the Brisby. I'll save it for the testimony.
The Brisby's been destroyed. Chris has been arrested.
He's been charged with the destruction of the whole ship. They took him into custody the second he stepped back aboard the Quartermaine.
Miles and this Frost guy haven't been charged. The Lieutenant took full responsibility.
I've got to get to Naval Intelligence and find out what the hell happened and how I can get him off the hook. I don't think it's going to be that easy. This is not a regular trial. This is a military tribunal.
If they convict him of the charges they laid on them, they're....
...they're going to kill him. Execution.
I'm not going to let them do that.
The trial begins in about forty eight hours. If I can get over there I may just have a chance to save him! He never does something without a good reason! They can accuse him all they want.
They're not taking him from me.
