"I'm doing your badge again..." as in "I'm back to working on it..." or "I want to redo it"?

I just feel I can do a better job, I would like to re do your badge if that's alright with you. I'm going to cut, laminate and ship this one out to you so that way you have a badge, but I would like to make a better one in the mean time.

That is fine. I'm married to an artist, so I understand the desire to do one's best. Not to mention what I said when I commissioned you in the first place: "Go for it! Have fun!"

If you want to save on shipping and wait until you have both, I'm also good for that too. There is no rush on my end as the next con I am to attend is AC and that is still over 2 months away.
