As far as I understand, it's translated as "draft horse".
As a huge fan of huge and wide horses, I'm a special fan of brabanders. And soviet drafts :p
Been working on him since... August I guess? It's not really much to work here, but my tend for perfection ate hell lots of my time, trying to make him the way I wanted him to be. Even though I feel he looks pretty tall and not that wide. Maybe it's because we don't really see his massive legs though... Anyway. I'm glad I finished him, because he was my art-block for a long time. Hope now I can get back to $$ drawings, for I really lost all my savings and patreon for these months.

Ooops, looks like I totally forgot to give you some info on him.
He is one of my characters (the ones I use for my stories and arts). He had a name, but I won't give it to you right now, because I'm kinda in half of re-building and re-thinking of the entire world and character stories, so there might be some things to change. He is one of the shadowmane/dustmane stallions (just like my main char), ~ 30, really massive. Nice temper, really kind, bi if you ask. And, despite him being very strong and powerful, he is really really really shy :P

Once again I'm happy to make a horse with a nice body, partially hidden by the clothes. You can imagine missing parts by yourself. It's like when you see a base of his sheathe and wonder what exactly he got in there. Well, I guess that's a thing about anthro horses - some of their belly folds will be seen even in SFW arts...
But if you insist, there's a 18+ version :/

Yeah, I've been thinking of how anthro things should look like. And I feel like this is the best way to be feral enough for an anthro. Also I think these folds above the pants won't be something exotic or erotic in a furry world. Maybe something like belly hair for the humans - you see it, you know where it goes, but you don't care about it.

Mmf what a shame he looks so sweet and cuddly ^=^ one thing I love about bigger horses they are huge softies :) why I love my Belgian mix Hehe... If he was a real dude I don't think I'd be able to pry myself from his arms ^\\\\\\^° not that I'd even want to lol!

Awe ;=; *hugs* I'm sorry dear... I wish there was something more then digital hugs and kind words I could give to help... Your art is astounding to me and I always smile seeing new art from you, knowing you are unhappy and not having a way to help hurts... So I wish you the best and I hope things get better for you <3
I've seen few of these beasts live at horse exhibit in my city. There is something majestic about the way they move with all their inertia. As a big fan of draft horses, I just couldn't miss this breed.
And I wanted to make this guy just like he should be (with minor details defining him from the others. Also he has his fluffy tail cut. Not like surgical, just the hair trimmed.

I used to live close to some farms who still used those horses (Since Belgium is still years behind on some technology, hah) and loved to help out those farmers. Nothing to special, just feeding the animals and so on, but - as a small boy - standing in front of such a massive beast was always quite majestic, and scary at the same time.
The detail you put in those artworks really bring back memories of my own back then, also a reason why I love your art as much.

I don't think it's so about behind technology, it's just sometimes a horse does better job and costs less. For example I've seen videos of them pulling wood or heavy things in hardly accessible locations. You need special and expensive machinery to even get there, while the horse has 4x4 drive and, if trained well, does the job quite good. + if the climate is warm and mild, you can let horses graze all their free time, so they won't need lots of food. And, if it's a farm, it's not that hard to take care of them with the other animals. So, cheap, strong and intelligent. And oldschool, which is awesome.
He is a very good looking horse indeed, I like him a lot! You draw the most attractive horses!
Character wise.. i must say i am interested in this story, i know how it feels to be re-working and going over your characters, editing and such. I've done it a few times to my own stories and worlds, and its quite the process... especially when your like me and you up with 70+ characters who you need to make sure they all fit back in smoothly xD
But yes, very good looking horse there, sure has the look of a gentle giant, and i am curious as to what his story is!
Character wise.. i must say i am interested in this story, i know how it feels to be re-working and going over your characters, editing and such. I've done it a few times to my own stories and worlds, and its quite the process... especially when your like me and you up with 70+ characters who you need to make sure they all fit back in smoothly xD
But yes, very good looking horse there, sure has the look of a gentle giant, and i am curious as to what his story is!
Since I'm not a writer, I'll probably make a short one day. And maybe some comic to show the most interesting parts. Or perhaps I'll write down all of my ideas and give them to a writer, who'd be interested enough to write a book of it. But only a genius can be successful in both writing, drawing and other things, and I'm definetely not one. So I'd stick with my drawings.
That is fair, sometimes focusing on mastering one thing can be better then going jack of all trades, i focused on my writing over drawing so i can understand that well.

Frizzled, bit of blown around mane makes me think it might be a bit windy out there, nostrils and mouth tell of a deep exhale, sweat shows he was working, with the others all combined it makes sense he was doing work outside, he looks a bit tuckered out.
But what fascinates me more are his eyes, they look almost shocked, like he just walked in and saw someone he wasn't expecting, you mentioned he is shy, so he could simply have just walked in from doing work outside, hoping for some quiet but got surprised someone was in his home.. of course there could be another reason two
What i'm saying is that, though you say you don't have a talent for writing, the details you put in tell a story, and its quite beautiful to see!
Sure gets this writer's imagination working for sure!
