So they sat. They sat there for hours long after the sun had set.
Earlier, the wolf had given the cat some of his old clothes, having lost his own the night before. A small consolation, if any could even be made...
Though maybe, none would need to be made. The cat, though he would not dare grant the wolf the satisfaction of knowing this, at least in part reveled in what had become of him. He felt as liberated as he once did, but without the constant nagging anger. He could not tell if the wolf sensed this, or was merely trying to justify what he had done. More than likely, it would be the former. After all, they now shared a bit of blood.
So they sat. And they talked.
Briefly, there was the discussion about being... this, as it were... topics such as how pesky the likes of silver and mistletoe would be. But it quickly moved beyond that.
Most mind of the cat was still rather grumpy over the situation. He even pretended to be annoyed about having to borrow clothes. But none of that could get in the way of their conversation, and inevitable bonding. Maybe it was the shared blood, but the cat felt a sense kinship which he had been missing for decades.
So they sat. For hours more, they sat.

Well, here is something quite different from me. Something I've been mulling over for a couple months now.
Going to switch from my character being a vampire to a werewolf. Multiple reasons why, many of which are personal, the change being symbolic and such. Yeah, yeah. A bit trite of reason if ever there was one. But it is the case.
Besides, a short cat that transforms into a big wolf monster is a rather fun idea~
Blame Lionrey~ for seeding the idea with me.
Anyway, if my character even remotely has any sort of 'canon' (which he does, I just have yet to really write it down), then the lycanthropy is something far in his future. He gets cured of vampirism only to get cursed with something else!
