Wyluli Wolf was a piece that I did for the Magic the Gathering card game, back in the day. The image is copyright Wizards of the Coast. I am required to mention that when I post it.

Which I noticed I also still have.
I've just sorted through my old Magic Collection to see which cards to keep, well, you have something in common with Phil and Kaja Foglio. Three Artists, were I keep all the cards I have
:)
Those were times, Antiquities, Legends, The Dark, Fallen Empires, Homelands and Ice Age. One year of collecting and playing. Since then I'm immune to collectable card games.

I used to be a M:TG collecting nut! I still have this card safly packed away in a binder, but now that I see it here, I just may have to get it out and flip through to find it. One of the reasons why I stopped collecting M:TG was because of the direction the art was taking, too 'sterile' (if that makes sense :P). I would like to see a return to the old way it was done when each cards art could seem like something more mystical and arcane. Like an image pulled from from imagination rather than something that you would see from digital program or video game. When I think of M:TG, I think of artists like you, Ron Spencer, Richard Kane Ferguson, Brom, Rob Alexander, Wayne Reynolds...and many others, but I'm sure you get what I meen.
I don't know what the future is concerning Wizards. I have several friends at Wizards, so I am on on friendly terms with them. Currently I work for myself and am keeping busy, (I have my Cons, games, comics, podcasts and commissions) so I am not really looking for outside work.
........wow, YOU'RE the one that drew this fabulous image? I bought a framed print of this from my game store many moons ago, and it has resided on my wall ever since beside the likes of Robin Koni, Al Agnew and Jon Van Zyle.
I never played or cared about Tragic: The Slathering, but the art was always fantastic.

Ah.. wow. The inner geek in me must respect this picture. I remember trading lots of lousy cards for this; a big stack to be sure - just because of the artwork. I always liked your art on the cards, but you tended to do the illustrations on lots of 'bad' cards *laughs*. The only exception I can think of is the beautiful Hymn to Tourach (I say beautiful, because I thought that your version was by far the best looking of the three).
