A quick sketch of my two favourite characters from "Meerkats", an obscure 1987 cartoon pilot made by the same studio who made The Raccoons! Interestingly all the main characters were named after various genres of music and dance!

From what I've heard thirteen episodes for a series were made a few years later, however I don't know where or even if they aired. Information on it is extremely hard to come by, which is a shame because I'd love to have seen it :)
