This was the first (and so far only) picture of a cheetah i ever saw that i found scary.
So i decided to make one of these type of things from it.

Sad truth, it's their reliance on their need to sprint that's causing them to become endangered. They exert themselves badly after they sprint, and if they don't get a meal during it, they have to wait a bit of time after before they can try again. Kind of sucks when you're chasing an animal that can run 45 mph without breaking a sweat = /
Actually it's their extremely low genetic diversity, lack of seminal quality, overgrazing/loss of prey diversity, and extreme habitat fragmentation (1 cheetah needs 1300+ square kilometers) that is endangering this species.
Their speed/strength ratio has served them very well despite being bullied by other predators. A cheetah rarely starves to death if they have enough habitat.
