I managed to get a stream sketch from the fantastic 
Xaenyth and somehow charmed my way into getting it colored and here is the result. Isn't she beautiful?! I love how Banit turned out and that sly expression.

She's part of my Greener Pastures story series set in 1890's New Orleans. That dress she's wearing is a typical dress of that time period. I can't remember off hand what that dress is called but it is fairly common for the era. I did quite a bit of research on dress and geography for my story.

Oh, also, she's based off of an actual blue jay that lives near my house. The actual bird is surprisingly friendly with a Mockingbird, I rarely see one without the other. They are about the only characters I planned to add with the exception of Ma, Lilly and Bobby. The rest were developed on the fly as I wrote.
