It really pisses me off when friends and family say "hey chan you should draw this or you should draw like this"
'this' being realistic drawings, trust me I have tried countless times to draw realistic humans, creatures and scenery but every time I just fail
people telling me that I should draw a specific way or like a specific person just puts me down, It makes me feel as though my art is garbage, I can only draw cartoony and maybe semi realistic
so stop telling me that I should draw differently. I wan't to try and get better but I haven't improved my artwork in ages despite trying to, I have referenced images, looked at other people's art and tried to get inspiration
I think I've just hit the point were I cant improve anymore because I'm not capable of going any further.

Nonsense, you've just hit a temporary plateau goofball. It's not going to change overnight like they want it to, when- and if- you decide to really change!
Besides, you have a wonderfully fluffy style, I think that'd be better than realistic anyway :3
Besides, they say to draw realistically, not realizing that the style would drastically change. And it would look totally different, and then, you know what? They'd sort of drift off because it's 'not the same anymore' like stupid little hypocrites. Screw 'em, stay fluffy :D

I know hehe Its just that I have tried so many times to improve over the course of months and still no improvement? xD
I'll keep trying but I don't want to aim to draw realistic like everyone wants me to I just want to improve small things here and there about my current style .n.
and I'm glad you like my style >w< I always enjoy drawing fluffy stuff anyway~

I've been in a writing rut for three years, I know how it is ;n;
One comment I've had to some of the stuff I've got from you is your canine knots look like sideballs :UUU
Like, not in a terrible way, but they're drawn more like gonads than the expansion chambers they really are. Personally? I find it kinda quirky and cool in a way, I mean, my ref sheet is chibi and keeps getting ridiculed as having 'brickpaws' so weird gets chuckles which is never a bad thing :D
And yaas, fluff best. Go throw fluff art at scientists so they get to work on gene therapy and genetic engineering so we can re-engineer our long lost tails to be fluffy and swap body hair with down fluff :D

It annoys me because I've asked people how do you draw your knots and so many people have different preferences
like...I'm not gonna go google what a fucking dogs penis looks like xD I'm not that weird. Some draw it as one thing and some draw it as two y'know?? Some of my friends draw similar to how I draw and sometimes I copy the anatomy from them
meh...no one has complained to me about it so I assume everything is okay but to be honest it kinda hurts me that people said that without telling me to my face, I'd rather know than do it 'wrong'

Well tbh as I said it's not 'wrong' to me, it's just part of your style! :D
And yeah learning from friends is totally fine. That's how a lot of artists learn their trade, is it not :3? If it's fine by them, it's fine for you too!
All I could really add to it is, idk, take a slightly elongated ovaloid, and embed it halfway into the shaft, then mirror it on the opposite site, done. I know it's probably a bit more complicated than THAT, but it's mostly, if I look at it, just blending the inner area with the shaft itself, so there's no extraneous line. From what I've seen around, there's two 'major' variations- one where the chambers are less elongated and more short and circular, and spaced wider apart, and one where they're elongated ovaloids that are placed about halfway into the side of the shaft, and in most cases would appear to overlap internally if you showed an x-ray view of them, forming, basically, a small butt crease on the shaft x3
If I had to make the best suggestion I could with my own extremely limited skills, take your usual balls (which are fairly round and you usually mark a little midpoint crease) and lengthen them some, spread them a bit more so the crease is more pronounced and looks like a butt, and then migrate that onto a shaft. Pretty crude description but I'd look at a rough sketch if you wanted feedback ' w' (There's also those weird teardrop shaped ones but fuck those ones those are weeeeeeird .w.)
I still maintain I like 'em, they're unique :3

I saw one of the dragons you drew with a knot and THAT knot's pretty bang on actually! :D
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21016864/ dis one you did for shaftboop, I'd say just remove a tiny bit more of the crease at the tops of the knot so it looks like it's more flush and you're golden! (Knots are merely expansion chambers, like a balloon, so they'd almost not have a crease (implies that side and the shaft are in contact instead of fused together) at all, but it kinda looks really good in your style with a bit of a crease there!)
