Rotating off the nearside runway at Nellis is a Hickam AFB C-17 Globemaster III. On board is the U.S. Air Force's parachuting team, Wings of Blue.

This is all part of the opening ceremony, which includes the presenting of our colors, and always begins at 10:30 am.

Based in Denver, Colorado, the Wings of Blue is made up of cadets from the U.S. Air Force Academy. There are a total of 48 members, consisting of both seniors and juniors.
