Playing around with an alternative character's design which I felt that was in need of a bit of a change up. Making it more beefy with less 'long, flowing, elegant' elements. I wanted it be more of a dragon/monster type and was first hesitant on changing it's design. Back horns need to be more like gnarled branches and roots whereas the tri-horn needs to look like it's decaying, with a cracked 'shedding' look to it. I still like the eye in the middle of the horn and tongue, and keeping it's black/reflective teeth and disjointed jaw. And trying to keep the skeletal look at the front of the head is interesting. Might turn it into thick skin and leave the fur off like I have started to in this picture.
I dunno, I guess we will see how the design developed!

I've always were wondering were the artist have gone ;;
I understand the need of redesigning and stuff, but must admit that I like the previous design more, just my personal opinion ^^

Yep, that was me all along!
I liked the slim design but drawing the same thing over and over again for years without at least experimenting makes for a bored artist. I can't say I will stick with it, but it felt good to change it up a bit even when I am hesitant to do so. Might try the spirals again. I did like that but only drew that a couple of times

Either way looking forward for the final redesign since I really want to make a fan art xD I had this idea right after I saw this character, just needed to find artist's active home page xD
Thus would really appreciate if you'd link me the ref sheet or similar art of this wonder once you'll make it happen (unless you allow me to make outdated fan art of the earlier design :D )
